Course center (if there is such a center) for the Spring 2007 offering of ChE 489/ES 489/SS 489 Creativity and Innovation and Interdisciplinary Problem Solving. A New Mexico Tech exclusive.
At New Mexico Tech, 489 is a designator for a pilot course. A pilot course lies somewhere between alpha and beta - it's more than a guess at a course...more of an educated guess.
In the case of this course, much of the material has been presented, more or less effectively, in other courses, including design labs and other seminars on ethics, problem-solving, and creativity. This site will form an essential part of the course (that is, if it works). If we (the course participants) manage to a) blow it up, or b) find something else that works better to incite class interactions, this site will be abandoned. More on this later.
